Besides this, clothing and consumer electronics, the average length is below a second (i.e., 23.4 seconds and 24.9 seconds), and viewers take 17 seconds to watch these online visual announcements. Apart from this, ads related to retail and travel have an average length of 26.8 and 28.7 seconds. Hence people spend more than 25 seconds seeing these types of youtube advertisements.

Moving on, the average time for advertisements related to lifestyle is 33.7 seconds, but viewers show less interest; hence, they spend only 14.3 seconds watching. Furthermore, entertainment and news type video promotions’ average duration is less than lifestyle (30 seconds). However, people spend more than 25 seconds on entertainment and news.

Apart from this, the average length of technology advertisement is 39.3 seconds, whereas business and finance consume 35.1 seconds. Among all the types of promotion videos, public service is made up of 66.7 seconds, and viewers’ average length on watching such ads is also more.
