Because Many Children Are Not Able to Learn Foreign Languages

Because many children are not able to learn foreign languages, schools should not force them to learn foreign languages. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some individuals opine that adolescents face challenges in learning other country languages. Therefore, institutions should not impose children to learn them. In my opinion, foreign tongues play a vital role in building confidence levels and career enhancements.

To embark with, learning global languages in schools helps kids to become self-assured. In other words, being able to communicate in a language apart from mother-tongue helps an individual to improve the art of speaking. Additionally, it improves articulation as well as communication levels. For example, a survey conducted by ‘The Times of India’ stated that ten among 20 students who know more than one foreign language have no public and stage fear. Hence, schools should emphasize this subject area even though it is challenging to learn and teach.

Secondly, the other factor is to help youth in career growth. To explicate it, there are humongous job opportunities available outside the country, and knowing their language will help individuals to crack a job easily. For instance, to acquire a job in a German country, the mandatory requirement is to know German, the same rule is applicable for Japan and some other countries as well. Thus, organizations should make students learn at least one foreign language for a better future.

To conclude, although it is difficult to learn a new dialect for a juvenile during their school. The institutions should include overseas languages as a part of academics. This helps them to be confident while they speak, which becomes a stepping stone for a successful career.
