I live in an average town where not many companies are there. But, I would like to talk about a company which employs more than 500 people named Sheetal. It is a brand of bedsheets, winterwear and quilts which is renowned globally. It is founded by Sheetal Vij. People not only from Punjab but all over India work there in various departments like human resources, factory, machinery, technology. So all in all people ranging from management to technological background works here. It has more than 20 hubs and three manufacturing units. I mostly used its products, and it is of fine quality and inexpensive, unlike other brands like a trident. I feel proud that a company in my hometown is known globally for its quality products. Moreover, it has an online presence as it also sells its products via its websites where you can get some discounts as well. It is a great company giving work-life balance to its employee without compromising on its quality of products.

Question 1. Is it easy to find a job in your country?

Answer:- Well, Getting a job is not everybody’s cup of tea in my country as there is huge competition everywhere. However, if you are skilled and passed out from a prestigious institution, it is highly likely that you will land a job before completing your final year of education.

Question 2. What should the government do if there is unemployment?

Answer:- Government should provide some training to be precise on the job training so that people can learn while earning some money as there is a huge gap between what we study in colleges and the kind of work done in industries. Moreover, the government can encourage various open means of tourism, transport and start-ups by which people can be employed.

Question 3. Is a high salary important?

Answer:- Actually, this depends on person to person. As for any person, there is not a number that is enough. High salaried people are still running to earn more salary. So there is no limit to this. Salary should be enough to live a comfortable life.

Question 4. Is it ok to do a job you like with a low salary?

Answer:- By low salary, I assume if the person is able to live a comfortable life without many adjustments, then it should be ok. As people with high salaries usually don’t like to do same work and their task may become repetitive and dull. So, if a person is enjoying their work and doing all from his passion, it should be fine.

Question 5. Are there any big companies in your country?

Answer:- There are a plethora of companies in my country ranging from IT companies to infra, clothing to manufacturing. To name a few TCS, INFOSYS are globally renowned companies that employes more than 10 million employees.

Question 6. How can a small company grow big?

Answer:- A small company can generate continuous revenues by becoming customer-centric first, and it should be dynamic so that it can change as the world around us changes. Every company, be it Infosys or Microsoft, were once a small company. The CEO of small companies can refer to the history of how it should be done in an appropriate way.

Question 7. Should big companies donate more to charities?

Answer:- Yes, definitely, big corporates which have a great profit margin should donate to social causes and charities. This will not only benefit society but develop the nation as a whole.

Question 8. Should big companies be punished more seriously if they break the law?

Answer:- Law should be equal and remain equal, whether it is a person or some entity. However, it depends upon the type and severity of the law, and in our constitution, there is a law for everything and should be followed as it is.

Question 9. What are the good things about working for a big company?

Big companies come with a great perk, huge salary package, insurance and social security. To name a few companies in my country, it would be TCS, Wipro, IBM, which are well-known companies and offer a lot of benefits apart from salary, which is highly unlikely in start-ups or small companies. Also, there is job safety in big companies, which one can consider.

Question 10. What are the differences between big companies and small companies?

As I explained in my previous question. There is a lot of difference between these two types of companies. These can be in the areas of compensation offered, gift perks, social security, job security, career growth and so on.
