The game that I want to mention here is Mario. It is the most favourite game for children born during the ’90s. The game offers different challenges, And the player is offered three lifelines. There are a few creatures in the game; if Mario’s body is touched by them, Mario loses his life. In the game, the player needs to collect a lot of coins which can further be purchased to buy more lifelines needed for survival. The Challenges get tougher and tougher stage by stage. I was introduced to this game by my father, and I was 7-8 years old then; he bought my brother a video game set and me. This is similar to the play stations we have today.
On every Monday, My father was at home chilling with us as it was his week off from work. After we returned from school, My mother used to prepare our favourite meal; later in the afternoon, my daddy set up the entire video game set, connected it with the Television and turn by turn. All 4 of us played the game. My brother and father usually got into quarrels while playing, as my brother was a cry baby if he ran out of lifelines and lost his game. My dad was always the winner of the game.
I enjoyed playing this game with my family, and As this game brought us all together, My parents only got this time to enjoy with us after the hustle-bustle of the entire week. It brought us some freshness. We would not realise how time flies by while playing. Later at night, my parents took us to dinner outside and had ice creams on the way back home.

Answer:- The impact of teen addiction games is very severe, and As I teach children of the age 10-15, I came across the fact that the time spent playing games on mobile phones has increased. During the pandemic, no one was allowed to move out of the house, and this further brought them closer to games on phones and the internet.
Question 2:- Should parents or teachers take necessary action to prevent children from playing games?
Answer:- Guardians should take the necessary steps to prevent children from being addicted to games. For example, I know a student of mine, his mother called me up one day and told me that he was addicted to the game PUB-G which is very popular amongst the teens, and the nature of the game is such that it had made him more aggressive. He is just 12 years old and has become arrogant after playing such a game.
Question 3:- What do you think are the benefits of playing games?
Answer:- There are very few benefits of playing games on mobile phones and the internet. Teens are introduced to slang and bad language at such websites. Parental control is the need of the hour. Parents should introduce educational games to the child and also should spend some time playing with them.
Question 4:- Why have games been popular amongst teenagers in recent years?
Answer:- As I mentioned, The pandemic has brought them closer to the games, and many games are accessible to young children and hold no age restriction. Soon they become addicted and are approached by harmful games. By this, I mean many games have advertisements displayed between the games, which makes them aware of any new game launched. They can easily download a game from the play store and try it.
