Sample Answer of Describe a House/apartment That Someone You Know Lives in
I would like to talk about my close friend Rhea’s apartment, which she recently bought from her own savings. Her residence is in the Hauz Khas neighborhood of Delhi, and it is a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor. Although the room is small, she has managed to turn it into a lovely space.
She kept the living room’s walls white, and she loves the minimalistic theme, so all of the furniture is made of pure teak wood; these were passed down to her by her grandparents and lent a vintage touch. The apartment also includes an open kitchen.
Furthermore, her bedroom is painted bright yellow and has a queen-sized bed and a bohemian-styled Chester drawer which she bought from a flea market. Lastly, there is a small balcony where she has kept all her plants; she has around 10 types of succulents and loves to take care of them.
Her residence is one of my favorites because it is always warm and inviting. And there’s a wall in her bedroom where she’s displayed photographs of her friends and family from her childhood, which adds to the space’s beauty. In the near future, I hope to possess an apartment similar to hers.
