Sample Answer of Describe a Thing You Did to Learn Another Language
I will be talking about what I did to learn a foreign language. Two years ago, I finished university as a registered nurse; my sister called me from the United Kingdom, and we talked at length, and she told me that for me to become a Uk citizen and practice as a licensed nurse, I have to write IELTS examination.
That was what prompted me to start learning the English language. Although I took English when I was in high school, I don’t think it has any effect on taking this test.
Meanwhile, I did a lot of research, including self-practice, I listened to English music. Also, I had to watch movies speaking English. My father even helped me book for a tutorial class, and a day does not pass without me watching different tutorials on youtube.
As a matter of fact, with much hard work and persistence, I was able to learn the English language. Finally, I felt a sense of fulfilment, and here I am today taking this test; I believe I am going to come out in flying colours.
