Fast food is a part of life in some places. Some people think this has bad effects on lifestyle and diet. Do you agree or disagree?
In recent days, people have been too busy with their personal lives, not getting enough time to spend time cooking food on their own, leading to the increase in consumption of fast foods. Some people believe that it shows a negative impact on lifestyle and diet. Personally, I agree that it has huge negative effects.
On the one hand, Fast food has occupied popularity among working professionals and children due to its immense variety of tastes, flavors, and quick availability in a cost affordable way. As a result, people who could not manage their time to cook often end up having fast foods from quick-serving restaurants or roadside stalls. Furthermore, it is also more common in young children as part of their snack or short meals. These foods serve not only taste and varieties but also come at an affordable price compared to traditional nutritional meals.
On the other hand, despite the fact that these foods are quick and cheap, they do not hold any nutritional contents which are essential for an individual’s health. Moreover, these foods also may contain additives and flavors, which are a potential threat to health in the long run if consumed frequently. A prime example of this could be ‘KFC,’ the leading vendor of fried chicken items that might use the same oil repetitively for days and days to fry the items. Nevertheless, eating this kind of food may reduce not only an individual’s appetite but also causes obesity which leads to several health diseases such as high cholesterol, lack of sleep, and heart strokes.
In conclusion, It can be reiterated that consuming fast food less often is considerable, while frequent eating disrupts health and diet.
