Question 1. Why do you think it is important to learn a foreign language?

Answer –  I would say, if you want to work in foreign countries or want to Settles down over there foreign languages are mandatory to learn. For instance- In my case, I would like to migrate for my higher studies for that I should learn the concerned country’s language only to make my communication and life easier over there.

Question 2. How is it helpful to you to speak a foreign language?

Answer – foreign languages help me in variant ways. Firstly as I said earlier, I would like to settle down in Europe, so that’s why I am learning my language. It makes my processing easier. Secondly, learning a new language will enhance our brain function, unlocking some primitive parts of the brain, it’s definitely improved our cognitive capacities.

Question 3. What is the most difficult part of learning a foreign language for you?

Answer – I would say the biggest obstacle to learn a foreign language must be grammar usages. We can simply learn the alphabet and words of that particular language but making them into practice like the backbone of a sentence is grammar, so it’s not that much easier to learn the grammar portion—for instance, I learners German language for a while and its application of grammar entirely different.

Question 4. What is the best way to memorize new words?

Answer – The best way to memorize the word is to make an absolute connection with our life; if we learn a new word, make few sentences relating to our daily routine and repeat those sentences in our mind again and again. Another step is we can note it down on paper place it over the walk or on the mirror at eye level. So if we are looking in the mirror, these papers capture our attention can easily memorize the words.

Question 5. Is it better to learn a new word from translation or by definition?

Answer – I think it’s better to learn the word by definition because sometimes translation can itself make us confuse. Moreover, we are translating the new words from another language, so the meaning of the entire context might be change. For example, if we are converting shoe bite as we know what shoe bite is is in English, it is simply explaining the wounds caused by wearing an inappropriate size of shoes, but in this context of we convert to my native language, Malayalam, it does mean that the shoe is actually biting or eating. So it’s better to learn new words through definition. After all, we could get that appropriate meaning of the world.

Question 6. Why don’t some people know the language of the society they live in?

Answer – It’s might be because they are sequestrating themselves from the society lack of interaction and hesitation for communicating with others. Above all reasons, we can figure out why some people are not learning the language of their community.

Question 7. What do you think of children learning a foreign language?

Answer – It is mandatory that children at their elementary stage themselves should learn foreign languages. Introducing a foreign language into their works will acknowledge them about the existence of the other lands, areas and culture. Moreover, if the children would like to study in foreign countries, it’s compulsory that they should learn the language.

Question 8. Why are some language classes boring?

Answer – It’s an interesting question. Some language classes are boring it’s might be because of the lack of experience of the teacher who doesn’t know how to handle the language classes. In fact, language classes are away from monotonous, especially the grammar areas, so we can’t put the blame on anyone.

Question 9. Some students hate to learn foreign languages; what can teachers do to develop their interest?

Answer – if the students would like to pursue a career in foreign countries with a lack of interest to learn foreign languages, the teacher can improve their cognitive capacities by identifying their weaknesses and moreover introducing some pictures of the foreign countries and lifestyle can make a change in their attitude.

Question 10. Some people travel for learning a foreign language, what do you think?

Answer – I would say they might be that much keen on studying variant languages, for making that possible arranging an appropriate environment for learning it is none other than the desired country for which they want to learn. So accomodating themselves and made them interact with the residents who are more suitable way learning that language So I can say it’s a wishful notion. On the downside, it’s a bit more expensive.

Question 11. What’s the best way to learn a foreign language?

Answer – I don’t have that much knowledge regarding that, but I think as, like me, I am a language learner and also figuring out various techniques to learn the English language. So I can say only practice and listen to various listening materials which solely podcasting the language which we want to learn moreover communicate with native speakers.

Question 12. Why can some people learn languages fast while others learn slowly?

Answer – it might be their cognitive capacity is lower, but they should definitely excel in other areas. For instance, my sister has difficulties in mathematics. She always used to fail in exams, but she sang well and was outstanding in drawing competitions.

Question 13. Does one’s age affect language learning?

Answer – Absolutely not, Once age won’t affect any sort of learning, including language. If we have strong determination and courage, we can definitely crack whatever we want only we should put some effort and consider age-related issues.
