In Some Places Shops Are Open 24hours a Day Seven Days a Week

In some places shops are open 24hours a day seven days a week. Do you think it is good for customers, shop staff and our society as a whole?

In today’s world, in many places, shops are accessible all the time in a day and seven days a week. I opine that it is beneficial for customers, shop staff as well as to society but some problematic shops should be opened only for a certain time.

There are several benefits to the people of society. Firstly, Customers can do shopping at their convenient time, if shops are available full time. Secondly, Employment generation is another positive aspect, increased hours mean, they need more staff. This creates employment opportunities for many people. As a result, the workers in the shop can work overtime and earn a good amount of money. Eventually, it improves their lifestyle and reduces poverty. Finally, increasing hours of opening the shops enhances conveniences to people and increases business to the shop owners. By services customers round the clock, they are able to generate higher revenues.

Primarily, this is a blessing for busy professionals who often work odd hours. Due to globalization that many business establishments work round the clock. Studies show that outlets that are serving customers throughout the day and night have higher profits than outlets that serve only daytime. Society will be the most profitable in all aspects.

On the other hand, there are some shops that should be opened only for a certain time. Some shops create disturbance in society if they are allowed to run 24 hours a day, such as liquor shops, gambling clubs.

To summarise, I reiterate my opinion that the rest of the shops can work full time except for some detrimental shops.
