Many people believe in the idea of school children wearing a school uniform, but should teachers as well be required to conform to a dress code? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.
Several people opine that the students going to school must wear formal attire. Furthermore, it’s questionable that teachers should also wear a uniform. I strongly believe that if teachers also start wearing a formal dress code, then it would lead to a professional environment on the school premises. The reasons which I feel in favour of this argument will be discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.
Firstly, I do believe that the need for a formal dress code for students and teachers will definitely curb the habit of presenting brand by certain people; for example, if children get permission of wearing casual wear, they will definitely try to flaunt in their peer group, and this will lead to an inferior thought for those who cannot afford to do so.
Secondly, as the teachers at the school also belong to different family backgrounds for the matter if they all are in the same attire, it leads to a professional atmosphere, and on top of that, they feel more responsible towards their duties. For instance, as the teachers are the role models for their students, this shows an act of self-discipline and a professional attitude.
In comparison, if the system incorporates this transition, then it can device better culture and working environment for the staff additionally it is a better enhancement of important life skills for the students.
