Many People Today Do Not Feel Safe Either at Home or When They Are Out (2) (1)

Many people today do not feel safe either at home or when they are out. What are the causes? What are the solutions?

It is an undeniable fact that people face safety problems not only when they are at home but also they are outside. Obviously, it is routed by many factors, which I shall discuss in this essay along with some suggestions to control the above-mentioned worriments with relevant examples in the upcoming paragraphs.

There are many reasons for people to feel insecure whether they are at home or at outside. Firstly, the crime rate because it develops fear within people. As long as a crime such as robbery, murder, rapes increase, people suffer from fear psychosis. It can be exemplified by the recent news report in Malayala Manorama about the Kuruva gang, a notorious robbery team from Tamilnadu that has gripped several districts of Kerala. However, this can be addressed by providing awareness to the people.

Secondly, another major factor in road accidents since the road gets overcrowded. Therefore the mortality rate increases due to car accidents. Therefore people face safety problems. Yet like other reasons, this can be resolved by the strict street penalty for causing unnecessary issues on the road. If the government is able to take strict action against it, then people feel safe when they are at home or at outside. There is an illustration that a survey conducted at UK public reveals that the road accidents were decreased to 75% because of the strict laws and that why safety is assured to them.

In conclusion, while increased crime rate and accidents give way for safety issues, creating awareness and abiding by law can be of immense help in addressing the aforementioned grave issues.
