Smoking Can Cause Serious Illnesses and Should Be Made Illegal

Smoking Can Cause Serious Illnesses and Should Be Made Illegal. To What Extent Do You Agree?

Nowadays, many people in India, including those under 18, engage in smoking. 🚬 This bad habit brings many serious health problems, and the government should implement rules against this widespread habit. In my opinion, I consider that smoking is very bad, and if it is banned, people will become healthier, which will be beneficial for both individuals and their families. 🏥👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

On the one hand, some people think that the government ought to make smoking illegal in the country. I agree, as this smoking habit brings many illnesses to people. If smoking and tobacco are unauthorized for sale, then people will become healthier, and the country will also become healthier. In India, 70% of the population is young, so this action will directly affect the younger generation and make people more productive. Furthermore, people will spend this money on a healthy diet instead of smoking or other bad habits. As a result, the death rate will decline in the country, and more people will avoid smoking if it is illegal. 🚫💪

On the other hand, these rules could create problems for the country’s economy and employment rate. If tobacco and smoking are made illegal, then people who work in this industry will lose their jobs, increasing unemployment, which directly affects the country. In addition, farmers who grow tobacco-related crops will also be affected. Hence, there are pros and cons if the government applies these rules on smoking. 📉👩‍🌾

In conclusion, while people may vary in their opinions, I think it is beneficial to institute laws against smoking-related activities to encourage people to live healthily and become more productive. ⚖️🏃‍♀️
