Some Feel that It Is a Waste of Time to Plan for The Future

Some Feel that It Is a Waste of Time to Plan for The Future (2) (1)

Some feel that it is a waste of time to plan for the future, and it is more important to focus on the present. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Time plays a significant role in our life. Time once lost is never regained. However, it is often debated that spending time in making future plans is less fruitful than being prominent towards the present. This essay agrees by providing supportive arguments centred on living a happy life and family well-being.

To embark with, it is efficient to use the time, to aim towards the present in order to live a satisfying life. First of all, People who give less priority to the future tend to have less stress and anxiety levels. Therefore, they find satisfaction in what they hold rather than imagining what they could get. For instance, children who have more enthusiasm than adults is because they enjoy their current time instead of thinking about what happens next. Thus, people who emphasize the present live a tension free life.

Secondly, the significance of the present will help individuals to spend more time with their families. In other words, People who are concentrated on the future will spend curtailed time with their families as they aim to achieve their goals. For example, the increase in the rate of old age homes is because today’s generation is unable to allocate time to their parents as they give prominence in the running behind their goals. Hence, it is important to understand the value of the present time for a well-being family.

To conclude, it is important to have goals. But it is necessary to spend the present time in order to have a fulfilled life and strong family.
