In the contemporary world, advocates think that for a better life and opportunities, individuals require tertiary education. On the one hand, in this competitive world, university education is an unavoidable part. To apply for specific jobs, employees must meet the eligibility requirements, including university education. In addition, course upgrades, curriculum changes, and other educational requirements are updated annually. Employers expect these basic qualifications from their employees. Furthermore, a college education moulds individuals in numerous ways. They learn technological, managerial, and behavioural skills from colleges, which enhance their careers significantly. Lastly, every year, thousands of efficient students graduate from leading institutions like IIM and IIT. School pass-outs will face challenges when competing with these professionals.
On the other hand, it is a fact that school pass-outs may not get their desired jobs immediately after schooling. Critics support the view that they will gain more experience in their relevant fields over time. Instead of applying theoretical knowledge, practical experience yields better results. Additionally, they can reach fantastic designations by the end of their careers. Critics point out examples such as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s former CEO, and the late Steve Jobs, who were both college dropouts.
