Some Systems Require Students to Specialize in A Limited Range of Subjects from The Age of Fifteen (1)

Some systems require students to specialize in a limited range of subjects from the age of fifteen. Other systems require students to study a wide range of subjects until they leave school. What are the benefits of these two education systems and which is better?

Certain structures require pupils to consider specific subjects as soon as they turn 15 years, although others undoubtedly allow school children to study a vast majority of study units up to the time of departing from the school. In this essay, I am going to discuss the merits of the two different academic systems.

Interestingly, specialisation among students is advantageous in such a way that it aids in the career guidance of the young people in schools since they will be focusing on what they would like to be in the future times. For instance, my brother would have been among the best software engineers if at all he specialised in computer studies as early as 15 years. Additionally, it will minimise the unemployment rate, which is rampantly on the rise currently because some pupils will opt for subjects that focus on vocational pieces of training such as tailoring, carpentry to mention but few which nurture students into employers rather than employees. For example, my buddy Ivan became a chief executive officer for his furniture workshop as early as 18 years old.

On the contrary, there are also numerous benefits for pupils learning various subjects during their school times like broadening the student’s awareness in all aspects of the globe, namely economical, religious, political and social affairs which sharpens the pupil’s thinking capacity. For instance, if my sister did not attend mathematical and science classes, she would not have managed to defend doctors in the courts of law. Additionally, young school children will obtain an opportunity to have a wide range of knowledge about different professionals. For instance, seldomly do I gain challenges when I am in my father’s textile business.

To sum it up, both academic systems are beneficial towards the student’s futuristic fascinating dreams although the specialisation structure of school children at 15 years outweighs the study of all the subjects before departing from school.
