Talk About a Decision Made by Someone but You Disagreed

Talk About a Decision Made by Someone but You Disagreed.

Talk about a decision made by someone, but you disagreed

You should say:

I want to talk about the decision that my friends and I made when I was in Japan. After the examination, we needed to find a place to relax after studying so hard in the semester and to experience our 1st summer holiday in Japan. I thought the ideal place would be somewhere beautiful and tranquil, just like Hokkaido or Okinawa. But my friends disagreed with me. They would like to go to Tokyo, which is the capital of Japan.

The reason why I disagreed with them was that Tokyo was too overcrowded. As you may know, Tokyo is one of the metropolises in Japan, which means they have a huge population. I wouldn’t say I liked the feeling of travelling with a large number of people since it was so inconvenient. I can’t imagine that I would travel on a train that was full of people. It’s terrible.

So Hokkaido was much better. I mean, we could have the chance to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in many places in Hokkaido, which was almost impossible in Tokyo. There are also several breathtaking natural landscapes. I had seen many photos of the pasture and the fields in Hokkaido. It was absolutely stunning! Additionally, I could capture pictures and record videos of this spectacular scenery for later viewing or updating social media.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, we couldn’t go anywhere, just stayed at home.

Follow-ups Talk about a decision made by someone, but you disagreed.

Question 1. What skills are necessary when making decisions?

Answer – I think I would say that the essential skills to make decisions are communication and problem-solving skills. The first one is needed because the compromise would be reached when people involved can communicate easily with others and avoid having arguments with each individual in the group. The latter one is vital since people need it to curb possible problems happening to the last decision.

Question 2.How do you think computers will change the way people make decisions?

Answer – I suppose that the information on the Internet can easily influence people due to the advance of wireless technology. In the past, when people chose to do something, they just went for it without seeking any advice. But currently, people can search for information easily with an internet-connected PC to read instructions and guidelines about the things they want to do.

Question 3.How can people improve their decision-making skills?

Answer – I reckon people can improve from their experience. This means when people do something, and they realise that this was wrong, they will find another way and eliminate the first decision. And in the future, they will not make those mistakes again, which help them to make better decisions.

Question 4.Do parents in India (Vietnamese) allow their children to make important decisions about the future? (Can I change to Vietnamese, as I live in Vietnam?)

Answer – I think it depends on the preference of the children. It means some young teenagers prefer to make decisions independently and feel annoyed when their parents try to interfere with their affairs. However, some pupils want their fathers and mothers to decide for them since they think they are not mature enough to make such vital decisions.

Question 5.Do you think that parents should make important decisions for their children?

Answer – Parents should give freedom to their children to decide things by themselves due to the fact that it helps promote their children’s creative thinking and communication skills. On the contrary, some teenagers will make wrong decisions since they are not old enough to distinguish between good and bad things. In such cases, their parents should educate them on how to decide something. All in all, my answer would be yes and no.
