Sample Answer of Talk About a Time when You First Talked in A Foreign Language
Being bilingual or multilingual adds one more character to the personality of a person. I am very happy to speak a foreign language, especially English. It was a time when I visited Sangrur to attend the wedding of my cousin. It is generally known as a backward area, so people usually speak their mother tongue, and they speak less English.
As it was the day of the wedding, so everybody was getting ready, and some of my foreign friends of my cousins had also come, and they were feeling isolated because they had no other person to talk to them. Luckily, I was there, and I started to talk to them in English and told them the whole ceremonies in their own language, and they were greatly impressed because two of them were writing a dissertation on Indian marriages. So they need to know more about it.
When I made them aware of Indian marriages and other ceremonies, then they really were very happy to get this information. Besides, I also felt more confident while speaking in a foreign language because prior to that, I never got a chance to speak to foreigners in their own language.
It was a fabulous day for me. We also exchanged our contact numbers, and since then, it has been my habit to talk to them in an alien language, and now I feel more confident to speak to any other person in a foreign language, so this was the time when I spoke in the foreign language, and that developed in me a sense of confidence, a sense of pride, and it also helped me in attaining a job.
