The bar charts below provide information about honey production and honey-producing colonies in the five American states in 2006. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The bar charts illustrate the data of honey manufacturing and its producing colonies for five USA provinces (North and South Dakota; Montana; Minnesota & Wisconsin) for the year of 2006. It is readily apparent from the provided graphs that honey colonies are measured in thousands of numbers while production is given in millions of pounds.
It is conspicuous from provided graphs that honey outcome and colonies both were highest in North Dakota on the other hand in Wisconsin; it was depicted on the lowest side in the year of 2006.
Explicitly, North Dakota has been on the first spot having 350 thousand producing colonies in 2006 year. Besides, Wisconsin has been almost 70% declined in number, which has only 50000 honey-producing colonies. It is noticeable that both Montana and Minnesota were stable in numbers of production colonies. Lastly, South Dakota has remained in the second position with acquiring approx. 225000 colonies for a particular year.
On further scrutiny, there were a total of three states (South Dakota, Montana and Minnesota) that shared equal production of honey with ten million pounds. Consequently, North Dakota has produced 25 million pounds from the honey business; however, Wisconsin stated five times the downside than North Dakota.
