Overall, it is obvious to note that the process of producing consumer goods involves eight stages, from the storage of raw materials to the sales of the product. In addition, it is evident that the flow of feedback could be from product research or at the point of sale to product planning.
At first, before the manufacturing process, raw materials and manufacturing components are procured and stored; next to that is the production planning, which results from carrying out research on the product and its design. After that, the design and the stored raw materials are assembled, inspected, and tested. Afterwards, they are packaged and then despatched for sales.
Finally, the flow of feedback is a two-way flow. It could be from the point of sales to the production planning or from the market research, which may affect the packaging, and may result in the advertisement if there is a change in design.
