The illustration represents the comparison of changes that takes place at west park secondary school for 3 different years with 30 years interval between them, i.e. 1950, 1980 & 2010.
The school is located on the side of the main road, and it was established in 1950 and during that time, it had only one building and playground. There were houses available besides school also farmland available besides the houses.
In 1980, the houses and farmland were occupied by school authorities and farmland converted to sports field whereas house area converts to car parking and new science block was developed. In 2010, the sports field area was narrowed down and used that area for car parking along with available old
car parking.
From 1950 to 1980 and 1980 to 2010. The old school building remains the main building, and the area behind the main building remains as a playground.
