The graph illustrates the use of the internet by a distinct group of ages in Taiwan over a period of 3 years.

Overall, it is noticeable that children and the aged are by far the group of people who showed little interest in using the web over the entire period given, whereas the younger and older adults undoubtedly used the web more frequently.

To commence with, in 1998, the 16-30 year group recorded the highest use of the internet, at 53%, while children less than 15 years only contributed to 2% compared to 4% for the elderly who use the web. Additionally, over the entire period given, using the internet by age group of 31-50 accounted for around 40%, while in 1999, both aged and children had a similar rate 8% for using the net.

On the other hand, from 1999 to 2000, people within the 16-30 year group had a slight difference of a percentage for the usage of visiting various websites. Moreover, older and younger individuals had a percentage difference for the use of the net in 2000. This means older people and young individuals showed little interest in browsing through websites.
