In many countries, mainly tourists but not local people visit museums and historical sites. Why does this happen and what can be done to attract more local people to visit the place?

Museums are the places which give us knowledge about history and culture or religion. Nowadays, most of the local communities do not pay visits to these places while tourists from other countries visit there significantly. I agree with this statement and I will discuss my views in the upcoming paragraphs.
First of all, local people have sufficient knowledge about their history and culture. This is the main reason behind the decline of local people interest in art galleries. If they visit the same place, again and again, this will not more productive for them. They will not be getting new things to learn about their past from the museum but, for tourists, this museum is full of knowledge about the past and culture of other counts natives. That’s why they tend to visit social places very often. Moreover, the price of tickets is very high and people do not like to spend so much money on such type of things that do not beneficial for them.
to solve this, the government can construct more museums that contain new types of information apart from our history. like, a museum for arms and ammunition or maybe museum for aircraft, ships that can an enormous knowledge about the there latest technology. Advertisements can also be made to attract the countryside people. Ticket prices should be cut down to an affordable level or for some people like for senior citizens and children under the age of 12 it should be free of cost. The government should renovate the old museums and set up some new facilities for hygienic and amusements.
Overall, the attract local people a lot of efforts should be made by the government. prices should reasonable and a while variety of facilities should be established.
