When New Towns Are Planned, It Is Important to Build More Public Parks or Sports Facilities

When New Towns are planned, It is important to build more public parks or sports facilities than shopping centres for people to spend their free time. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that humankind thoughts and preferences have been changed over time. A number of individuals believe that during the construction of a new town, planners have to build or put more weight on building parks and sports facilities instead of shopping malls where residents spend idle hours. I completely agree with the given notion, and my inclination will be justified in the following paragraphs.

There are various reasons why I believe that public places are more pivotal than shopping centres. First and foremost, having a public garden in town is beneficial for all age groups, especially children and golden-ager. In any town, if there is no government park, then they play games in the colony which is risky and the threat of an accident. Moreover, in this contemporary era, people are educated as well as believe in fitness or being fit; thus, this will be the best place for them. Apart from the exercise they also meet new people who aid to improve communication skills and be the social person or socialize in the community.

However, shopping malls are also a mandatory requirement in any area. In this mordent era, the majority of people have a hectic work schedule as a result, whenever they get some time such as on weekends, a holiday they prefer to go shopping. This is also the best way for them to spend quality time. Another reason is that if there are no shopping centres in town, then citizens have to go to a small shop or away from town. For purchasing in the bulks shopping mall is a better option.

In conclusion, despite the benefits of shopping malls in the area, I believe that parks and sports areas have more edge than it.
