You Have Received a Letter from Your Bank Asking You to Acknowledge Receipt

You have received a letter from your bank asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope. Write a letter to the bank’s head office. In your letter,

  • explain why you are writing
  • express concern about the missing card
  • ask them what they intend to do

Dear sir,

I am Kamini Bagga and writing this letter concerning an incomplete bank card envelope.

A couple of weeks ago, I applied for a credit card at Punjab National Bank. The reason behind this is the particular scheme where the bank will issue a card with a higher limit at the same amount of credit card opening fee.

Unfortunately, when I opened the envelope to check the details of the card, I only found an acknowledgement letter and was extremely shocked to check this. However, the envelope was sealed, but I have not received a credit card in it.

It is a humble request to the branch manager to kindly check on the system about my credit card envelope issued on 10th December. Kindly arrange the new one as soon as possible.

Hope to get a positive response from you.

Yours faithfully
