Prison Is the Common Way Most Countries Try to Solve the Problem of Crime

Prison Is the Common Way Most Countries Try to Solve the Problem of Crime. However, a More Effective Solution Is to Provide the Public with A Better Education. to What Extent Do You Agree or Disagree?

📉 It is often argued that prison reduces crime, which is an easy and common way in several countries, while better education is a more effective way for people. I disagree with this opinion and think that providing education is much more important.

🎓 First of all, education is most important because it raises awareness and enhances people’s knowledge. Uneducated people in rural areas commit many crimes. However, today’s youngsters commit crimes more and more, often getting involved with gangs. For example, due to the lack of an education system, children don’t go to school and start chain-snatching, rape and many more crimes. That’s why it is important to educate children; otherwise, they may become criminals later. 📚

🌍 Secondly, crime is increasing, especially in undeveloped countries or areas. In other words, youngsters drop out of school and engage in other activities. They may become habituated to alcohol, cigarettes, and tobacco at an early age. For instance, by providing education, they may stay connected with learning and reduce crime. Moreover, through education, they can learn about the punishments for crimes, such as prison and the death penalty. So, the advantage of education is that it is a more effective way to reduce crime. 🚫

🏢 On the other hand, some people claim that prison is a common way in most countries to reduce crime. Prison is an easier way to punish. In addition, offenders often re-offend when they are released.

🔚 To conclude, education is a very effective way to reduce crime. By providing education, teenagers learn about what crime is and the consequences of capital punishment. Also, they can help others to prevent crime. 🌟
