When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration for many. Others, however, prefer different other aspects of a job over the salary they earn. In your opinion what are the most important aspects of a job?
It is irrefutable that people have been selecting more corporate jobs where they are given fixed salaries. Many individuals are of the notion that there are many other factors why people want to job. My standpoint and shall discuss other aspects for selecting jobs in forthcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, the first and foremost reason is that individual prefers a job for gaining knowledge about their field rather than looking at a salary. To exemplify this point, one who just have passed from the university they don’t have any idea about the corporate world. Therefore some graduates join small private companies at any salary in order to procure work experience. For instance, my cousin brother has passed from university as a software developer, but he has not adequate practical knowledge. Thus, he enrolled in a freelancing company that worked at a lower level with a 10,000 rupees salary per month. Secondly, family pressure could be another factor that individuals have to choose employment in any company even if they like it or not.
In addition, the other major reason, in many developed and developing countries, people has been turning towards government jobs such as railway, defence sectors, politics and so on. This is because individuals want to serve the nation and its citizens. For example, India and China have the most powerful army as most people prefer to join the defence sector.
However, in this sustainable world, most educated or uneducated people want either private or government jobs in order to stabilize in the future and have some proper financial backbone, and it is only possible to have higher incomes.
To recapitulate, having disputed all aspects, I firmly believe that financial condition is the principal factor that an individual has turned towards the jobs despite a lot of opportunities have outside.
