- Why Did You Learn It?
- And Explain How You Think It Will Help Others.
Well, there are many things we learn from each other’s cultures. Today, I will talk about one event that I like to enjoy: Mother’s Day, which we adopted from the USA. People there celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday of May.
One of my friends lives there, and when she came back to India last year, she told me about this celebration. People love to celebrate it with their mothers, preferring to go out for dinner or lunch, spend the whole day with their mothers, give them presents, and enjoy the day.
I also started celebrating this, and this year, I celebrated it with my mother. We went out for a movie and lunch, later cut a cake, and I gave her a present. This gave me immense pleasure as I spent some quality time with my mother, which I never had before. So, this is a wonderful way to spend some time together.
