Question 1. Do you often (like to) sing?
Answer. It depends on my mood. If I’m in a festive mood, I do hum or sing. I’m reluctant to sing in public as I’m not a good singer. So, I sing when I’m alone and tend to forget the lyrics and skip words sometimes. I can sing at Karaoke, where the lyrics are displayed, and I can sing along with their help.
Question 2. When do you like to sing?
Answer. I usually sing when I hear a catchy song playing in the car during long drives, which elevates my mood. Also, I sing in the shower, which releases stress and makes my day pleasant.
Question 3. How much time do you spend singing every day?
Answer. I don’t keep track of time as singing comes naturally, but probably until the song lasts.
Question 4. What kinds of music do you like to sing?
Answer. Songs with meaningful lyrics captivate my attention, so I like to sing Bollywood songs, especially the old songs of the 1970s and 1980s. The lyrics and their deep meaning touch the soul and make one sing the song in a loop.
Question 5. Is it difficult to sing well?
Answer. Good singing not only requires hard work but also some correct techniques. One has to be careful when to use high or low notes. Rhythms and beats should be in sync for singing well.
Question 6. Do you want to be a singer?
Answer. I see singing only as a pastime and have never considered it seriously. To be a good singer, you require natural talent and years of hard work. So, I would not take it up as a career but would continue to sing as relaxation therapy for myself.
Question 7. Will you take singing lessons in the future?
Answer. Yes, I plan to take singing lessons and also want to learn the guitar.
