Recent IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions with Answers: Public gardens and parks
Question 1:- Would you like to spend time in a park or a public garden?
Actually, I prefer to spend my time in a public garden rather than in a park, and this is because the public garden has a variety of flowers and trees. I also get the chance to meet celebrities and other personalities since it’s open to the general public, unlike the park, which sometimes lacks these opportunities.
Question 2:- What do you like to do when visiting a park?
When visiting a park, I first research that particular park I want to visit to get an idea about how the place looks and what to expect there. I remember when I went to Kakum National Park for the first time, I asked a friend who had visited there before about it and how to go about things.
Question 3:- How are the parks today different from those you visited as a kid?
A lot of changes have taken place since I was a kid. I quite remember visiting a park only during an excursion, but now you can go there anytime, any day you want to. Most parks nowadays have restrooms where you can take a break to ease off stress and have nice restaurants where you can get assorted foods to buy.
Question 4:- Would you prefer to play in a personal garden or public garden?
Although playing in a public garden is sometimes enjoyable as you can get other people to play with, playing in my garden is something I prefer because my privacy is assured there. I can control the people I am playing with because of the relationship I have with them already.
