Describe a Time When You Felt Proud of A Family Member. You Should Say:-
- When Does It Happen?
- Who Is This Person?
- What Does the Person Do?
- And Explain Why You Felt Proud of Him/her.
Well, I come from a nuclear family, and there are four members: me, my younger brother, and my parents. Here, I would like to talk about a time when I really felt proud of a family member. Recently, my brother and his team were awarded by local authorities in my city for serving society during the COVID-19 lockdown.
He is a great social worker and works under the reputed organization “Humanity.” This organization helps needy people by providing food and other necessities. During the pandemic, the Indian government announced a lockdown, and at that time, poor individuals were suffering from daily needs.
However, my brother and his team were doing a great job in our city by fulfilling their needs with necessities. It was such a noble cause. Moreover, he and his team helped continuously without any worries about the COVID-19 infection.
Around six months ago, he received an invitation from the local authorities’ office to reward him and his team members. We all went with him. After reaching there, all organization members were invited on stage and awarded medals and cash prizes in front of thousands of local people for their great work during the pandemic.
Still, he is part of this organization and does much noble work. Even he has motivated me to do something for humanity. Now, I also help needy people with some food on Sundays. All in all, that was the time when I felt proud of a family member. π

Question 2: Should parents reward children? Why and how?
Yes, parents should reward children for their achievements and hard work. It encourages them to continue doing it and makes them feel good about themselves. Instead of giving material goods as rewards, parents should reward children by praising them, letting them do a favourite activity, or spending more time with them. π
Question 3: Is it good to reward children too often? Why?
I don’t think parents should reward children too often as it can make them feel entitled. Buying them toys or gadgets as rewards can make them materialistic. Younger kids may become too focused on the reward and forget why they are being rewarded. They can even start negotiating with parents for every small task they do. π«
