Describe Something Important that You Lost

Describe Something Important that You Lost. You Should Say:

  • What It Was?
  • How Did You Lose It?
  • Why Was It Important to You?
  • How Did You Feel when You Lost It?

I have lost many things in my life, but this particular phone that I misplaced really got to me. The phone was given to me as a birthday present from my dad. I was called for an important meeting at work, and I lost it in a taxi that I took.

I searched around but couldn’t find it, so I had to forget about it. I loved this phone because I received it on a special day. This phone had important information about my bank transaction records. That day, I couldn’t concentrate on anything I was asked to do.

I felt so worried and dreamt of getting it back, but I couldn’t trace the person who had taken it. Moving on, I would always like to put my phone in a small purse rather than holding it in my hands.

Part 3 Questions: Describe Something Important that You Lost

Question 1:- What kinds of people may lose things often?

Mostly, it is the elderly who misplace things easily due to their age and the challenges that come with aging. They suffer from forgetfulness, and they lose their valuables easily. Some time ago, my grandpa forgot his luggage on a commercial bus, which we could not trace.

Question 2:- What can we do to prevent losing important things?

I think we can always keep our valuable items in a file or a bag and keep them in a safe place. Also, when we are traveling with them, we can keep them in our handbag and keep an eye on them. Since I lost my phone, I have been mindful of how I handle my valuables.

Question 3:- What would you do if you saw something valuable that didn’t belong to you on the street?

If I see something like that, I will just take it to the nearest police station or radio station for it to be announced so the owner can come for it. Also, if there is something that I can use to trace the owner, I will do that. Just last week, I found someone’s wallet in a taxi that I took from home to work. I found a contact address in it, which I used to trace the owner. This lady was very happy to see me and was surprised too because she thought she had lost it all. This wallet contained her valuable items.

Question 4:- What kinds of things have you lost so far?

Like I said earlier, I have lost my phone and earrings. I once lost my underwear when I was in high school. I forgot about this one and left it on the drying line. When it was time for me to go for it, someone else had taken it.

Question 5:- What do you usually do to look for lost items?

Well, I usually go to the police station to report and the radio station to announce the lost item. Doing this sometimes helps because someone might see it and would not know how to go about it.
