Some individuals believe that parks and gardens in the city centre should be replaced with Apartments so that Time wasted in reaching work can be decreased, but other individuals believe that this is not a good way to overcome the problem of time waste which occurs while reaching work. In my opinion, replacing parks and gardens is not a perfect solution; some other ways to reduce time waste must be tried. In the following essay, I will discuss both my opinion and my views on this.

To begin with, Time wasted on travelling every day to reach the office is a major issue nowadays. People have to wait in traffic for a long time before reaching the office or returning from the office. Because this happens almost every day, many people find this annoying, and the effect of this occurs on their work as well.
To overcome this, some people suggest removing parks and gardens and building new apartments surrounding work areas in city centres. However, this can be one solution, and in my opinion, this is not a good option. Parks and gardens are necessary for children and people residing in the city centre. It is also necessary to reduce pollution in that area. If there are only buildings in the city centre, nobody will enjoy staying there.
Some other options to overcome this problem are as follows. Traffic jams occur because office time is the same for everyone. Slightly different office times for every individual can be tried. Another option is if office work does not require employees to go to the office every day and work can be done from home; then the home option can be given.

To conclude, Time spent reaching the office or returning from the office is the main issue, and overcoming this by replacing parks and gardens with residential buildings is not the best option. Altering office time for different individuals and, if possible, the work-from-home option can be tried.
