The process diagram depicts the production of chocolate.
Overall, it can be seen that chocolate production involves 10 stages. Starting from cacao tree to liquid chocolate produced.
Looking at the diagram, in the first stage, red pods should be ripe from the cacao trees, which were grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Secondly, pods are harvested, white cocoa beans were taken from them. In the third and fourth steps, beans are fermented, spread all over in a rectangular tray, and kept under the sun to dry.
Furthermore, the dried beans are kept in large sacks and were transported by a lorry or train to a factory. In the eight stages, the beans were being roasted at a temperature of 350c. Then, beans were crushed in a crusher, and their outer shell was removed. Finally, the inner part of roasted beans was pressed into a grinder, and liquid chocolate is produced for eating purposes.
