Sample Answer of Manufacturing Process for Making Sugar From Sugar Cane

The drawing given illustrates the production of sugar from sugarcane with a complete process.

This process starts initially with the growing of sugarcane in the field to obtain sugar by various steps. The sugarcane is grown in a field that takes about 12 to 18 months before they get completely ripped to provide us with its juice. Then the sugar cane is harvested either by harvester over large production or by manual cutting of the cane stems. After this, the cut-down sugar cane is injected into the crusher to extract the juice and is collected in a container.

Furthermore, the collected juice undergoes a purified process done with the help of a limestone filter. Hereafter, the collected juice undergoes an evaporator’s evaporation process, where the juice is heated up to get relief from water content in it and gets converted into a syrup. This syrup undergoes a centrifugal process where the sugar crystals get separated from the syrup by means of a giant Rotor. Finally, the crystals are collected, dried and cooled and are ready to move to the market for sale.
