According to the chart, it rarely affects women between the ages of 29 to 44 years; the number seen per year is around 3,000, which is about three per cent of cases recorded in males. However, the highest cases of a heart attack in women are reported in those of 65 years and older nevertheless, it is not up to that of men, although just slightly lower with a difference of one hundred thousand.
