As well as making money, businesses also have a responsibility towards society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Money is the most important asset in today’s world. Businesses are the prime root to generate money. Profits are important to be made but as well as the social issues to be solved. I completely agree with the statement that besides money-making, the business should contribute a role in society’s responsibilities.
Firstly, the companies are always created in the way of generating the profits after reducing all the cost on the products, the employment wages, taxes and utilities and these profits are made from the business should be utilized in acquiring the development techniques for the long and stable run of the company. If the company is not able to meet their cost of finishing or unable to pay their loans or any other instalments, then thinking about society’s contribution is not valid.
On the other hand, if the company are generating large profits after cutting all their instalment, providing good employment benefits, generating more assets, then they should need to understand their role toward the society and plan or donate to create or help the various organization for various purposes. Forex: animal rescuing organization, Medical camps, food donating, education organizations, parks and religious monument management and many more.
In conclusion, I completely agree with the fact business should participate in their social issues and contribute to resolving them.
