Many people believe that social networking (sites such as Facebook) have had a huge negative impact on both individuals and society. To what extent do you agree?
Technological advancement brings myriads of benefits for people. Some individuals think it creates chaos in human life. At the same time, others think that it provides a worldwide platform for people for their exposure. Here, I agree with the notion that social media innovation provides myriads of facilities for youngsters.
There is no doubt that technological improvement gives us ample platform. One can build international links and grow their business. To cite an example, Nowadays, people establish their online business with the help of these platforms like they send their products description and get orders without meeting anyone and get money in their accounts.
Furthermore, People learn about foreign cultures while using Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Moreover, In this advanced time, people get updated news on these platforms. For instance, during the time of the covid-19 pandemic, people get every news within a fraction of seconds from several places, even international news also. On top of it, These sites also help humans in medication—for example, individuals used to post about their medical requirements and get help from there.
On the other hand, some people think this advancement has a negative effect on individuals and society. To quote an instance, people become mouse potatoes, due to which children did not focus on their studies, and they waste most of their time while operating these sites. Moreover, with the excessive use of these sites, humans become introverted; even immature minds become mature because obscene content is easily available there.
In conclusion, Some people think these sites have a negative effect on humans and society. However, I am inclined to advocate that there are myriads of benefits are there. There is a need to impose some restrictions on these sites.
