Question 1 Do you often read newspapers?

Answer – Yes, I do read newspapers early in the morning. It has always provided me updated information about each and every corner of the world. In Our Town, “Gujarat Samachar” and “Sandesh” are more famous articles and sources of Traditional news.

Question 2 Which do you prefer reading, magazines or newspapers?

Answer – Well, I prefer to read both newspapers and magazines as newspapers have some important information related to national and international issues. On the other hand, magazines have some useful tips which can be helpful to me in daily activities like preparing, cooking, managing household items and some interesting stories to read.

Question 3 What kinds of (types of) newspapers (or magazines) do you usually read?

Answer – I usually read the traditional newspaper “Sandesh” because it comes in my mother language Gujarati. Moreover, It has always published valid news, and its sports news page always provides history on each and every day in the past, which boosted my knowledge towards sports.

Question 4 How old were you when you first started to read newspapers?

Answer – I think I am not quite sure, but I am little bit remember that on 10th Standard I have read the first newspaper as my teacher forced me to do so for general knowledge purposes.

Answer – It is very beneficial to read newspapers as it enhances our local and geographical knowledge. It has also increased our reading skills as many newspapers provide the lexical word of resource to attract the readers.

Answer – It has mainly gained the information, entertainment and developed knowledge people used to read newspapers nowadays.

Answer – In modern times, in every region, newspapers issue with their local languages in India. Among them, the most popular is “Times Of India” and “Divya Bhashkar.”

Question 8 Do you care about the news?

Answer – Definitely, I cared about news as in the morning I had very little time to explore all news, so I generally preferred some important news to read. Many times the political news I am skipping as it is out of my interest.

Question 9 What kinds of news do Indian people read in newspapers?

Answer – In My opinion, it depends upon gender-wise, like youth always loved sports and entertainment while old people demand devotional and political news in India.

Question 10 What are some methods that newspapers use to attract readers?

Answer – There are multifarious methods to get the attention of readers on newspapers like fonts. For Example, most burning issues need to be highlighted with dark fonts and in big letters. Secondly, Pictorial information of newspapers also helps to attract users. Nowadays, some advertisements take part in newspapers which help many people.

Question 11 What influence do you think newspapers have on Society?

Answer – Newspapers have become habitual for many people in Society.As some are reading newspapers while enjoying a cup of tea, while others treat it as a knowledge source that developed their skills.

Question 12 Do you think the Internet is a good way to get news?

Answer – In the contemporary era, due to advancement in technology, now many people adopt to view news online rather than to read in the traditional way. It is very useful as now many news media convert into an audio-video mode which increases more followers for their news channels.
