Dear Mr. Watson,
I am writing to you to express my gratitude for returning my bag, which had been lost somewhere. I really appreciate your integrity that all the things were safe and secure.
Let me tell you that I lost it when I was going from Chandigarh to Delhi. I was completely lost in conversing with one of my friends over the phone. When it was time to alight from the train, I got failed to pick it up from the upper berth.
Suffice to say that it had been valuable for me due to my passport, checkbook, and last but certainly not least, my personal diary. I had been anxious about my passport because, in the near future, I was going to fly to attend my business meeting.
I would like to invite you for dinner at my home. I know that I cannot repay what you have done for me; however, it would be a chance to develop our friendship.
