Television and Radio IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer.

Question 1:- What kind of entertainment do you prefer, TV or radio? (Why?)

Answer –  Well, radio and TVs have their own space for entertaining people, but I mostly prefer television because visual aspects enhance the entertainment level. Moreover, we can illustrate the advertisement more clearly rather than radio in which we can only hear the ads. Besides this, I am also fond of radios also. Nowadays, radios are evolved, and various channels have enabled us to use them as one of the components in entertaining. During traveling in a car, I usually use the radio for songs to cut a long journey. It keeps me awake up during night travels, and I enjoy the journey. Even I get the day-to-day traffic details and hourly local news which keeps me updated.

Question 2:- How are radio programs and television programs different?

Answer – Radio programs are usually based on listening to the news, comedy shows, drama, latest songs, and many more, whereas television shows are based on movies, visually seen music shows, reality shows, news, video songs, cartoons, etc. Apart from this, we can understand or read the headlines even if the tv is in low volume, which we cannot do on the radio.

Question 3:- What programs do you like to watch/listen to?

Answer – As we know, there are various types of programs streaming, but I want to talk about one of the programs that I like is reality shows which shows consist of lots of drama as well as entertainment use. Reality shows are based on relations as well as emotions and problem-solving situations.

Question 4:- When do you watch TV/listen to the radio?

Answer – As I said earlier, reality shows are my favorite, and mostly they stream daily evening from 7 to 10 pm and sometimes when I have spare time I switch on tv to see if some interesting show is running or even when some movie or some special episode would be streamed.

Question 5:- In India, has television/radio changed much in recent years?

Answer – Well, I am quite an explorer type of person, so I watch mostly which appeals to most or has more TRP rating. Besides reality shows, I usually was various competitive shows such as KBC, dancing shows, music shows, even historical shows too.

Question 6:- How do you think TV/radio broadcasts in India could be improved?

Answer – As I said earlier, technology is evolved from black and white tv to color TVs to light compatible TVs, and it will be evolving in the future years. Such as Tv will be running by private platforms rather than traditional directors and producers. Even shows would have more clear picture quality, and the platform of shows running will be changed.

Question 7:- Do you prefer TV news or news on the radio? (Why?)

Answer – Well, Watching the news on tv will mostly appeal to me because I can see news headlines with pictures, but this is the case when I am at home, but if I am traveling in a car nonetheless I have to use the radio for news as watching is not possible while driving.

Question 8:- Do you watch programs on the TV or your cell phone?

Answer – As nowadays I am at home usually, so I usually prefer to watch programs on Tv but if in case if I have a long way to go while traveling I use mobile.

Question 9:- Do you like watching the same kind of programs all the time?

Answer – Well, I am quite an explorer type of person, so I watch mostly which appeals to most or has more TRP rating. Besides reality shows, I usually was various competitive shows such as KBC, dancing shows, music shows, even historical shows too.

Question 10:- Do you talk with your friends about the program you watched?

Answer – If we are watching the same shows, then I do discuss with my friends. Sometimes we share the predictions of shows or the winner of the shows, and even we see the shows together even when we have spare time.
