I am Shreya Thakkar, a Resident of Ahmedabad, writing this letter to inform you about the condition of Adalaj stepwell.
Let me explain to you in more detail. Last weekend I visited Adalaj stepwell with my friends. I was very excited to see the stepwell, but after seeing the condition of the stepwell, I was really disappointed. The main problem was that it was not maintained properly. There is a lot of garbage from plastic bottles, shaded tree leaves etc. Moreover, nobody was there to keep watch, so some youngsters were creating new songs there. I found them having alcohol there, which is strictly banned in Gujarat.
I would like to request your team to visit there and prepare an article on the condition of the stepwell and publish it in your paper so that the government can notice the situation and take some steps to overcome issues.
I believe that it is our responsibility to maintain our historical place, and with the help of your reach, you are able to highlight this topic so that government and the general public can be aware of the situation.
