Smoking not only harms the smoker, but also those who are nearby. Therefore, smoking should be banned in public places. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Well, old people said that”Health is Wealth”.In this contemporary world, smoking is ubiquitous among plebians and, it is arduous for young ones to leave the smoking habit. But smoking is injurious to health because it emits exhaust fumes which have an adverse effect on the health of the smoker as well as on individuals who are around them. Consequently, its usage should be restricted in public places. The ensuing paragraph will shed light upon various ideas and examples along with an agreement view.
To commence with, there are many reasons behind this that why smoking should be prohibited. First and foremost, second-hand smokers-the smoke breath out by smokers – causes numerous health problems to children, adults, older folks such as asthma attacks, respiratory infections, heart diseases, lung cancer, to name but a few. Moreover, smoking also affects women who are pregnant. A recent survey had had by scientists reveals that more than 1000 infants die annually due to second-hand smoking.
Moving further, when people smoke in public, then the smoke travels everywhere through the air, and the negative effects of this smoke affect all living, breathing creatures. To cite an example, people who go for a morning walk wants to inhale the fresh oxygen, but when they get in contact with a second smoker, then they get harmed. Last but not least, citizens who smoke in public portray a bad example for children. Children are not mature, so they are easily influenced towards the worse things because they are not able to differentiate between right and wrong.
In conclusion, I strongly agree to halt that smoking has detrimental effects on both the public as well as on the environment. So, it is the onus of the government to educate the public through some organisational campuses and provide some special places for those people’s who are addicted to smoking.
