The Number of car accidents is increasing annually. This is the result of poor driving skills. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The statistics of the yearly car accidents are surging exponentially. Some believe that it is a dreadful consequence of poor driving skills. In my opinion, rather than the inefficiency of the driving, poor traffic system, unscientific road construction, and physical disabilities are the main causes behind this scenario.

Firstly the rapid development of self-created cities results from massive crowds in the narrow streets, which creates not only noisy roads but also occur huge traffic blocks and tragic accidents. In these double-way streets, the drivers need to be faced opposite direction vehicles along with street vendors and pedestrians. This eventually promotes plenty of accidents. The streets in the underdeveloped African and Asian countries are the obvious illustration.

Secondly, several urban and rural roads victimize persistent road accidents is vividly evident in unscientific road construction. The ethic less, profit-oriented contracting companies develop infrastructure without any relevant studies, which literally make improper roads, and further, these places become accident-prone areas. Moreover, the delay of the regular road maintenances is also a cause behind this phenomenon.

Thirdly, personal disabilities such as diabetes, vision problems, and psychological issues are other major reasons behind motor car accidents. According to the Indian journal‘s 2016 study about frequent road accidents, approximately 45 percent of accidents are due to impaired mental coordination or decreased vision abilities due to other decease conditions. Simultaneously, road rage is also an unavoidable fact.

To sum up, despite the driving skill has no trivial reason for road misfortune, other factors such as poor traffic management, unscientific road development or design, and physical or mental disabilities are the paramount factors.
