Global warming is one of the most serious issues that the world is facing today. What are the causes of global warming and what measures can governments and individuals take to tackle the issue? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
The ozone layer depletion is known to be a serious situation that the globe has been faced with recently.
To start with, the outcomes of this situation is due to the combustion of gases from motors and vehicles on our roads. The number of fumes blown into the air each day by these vehicles is the main cause of the destruction of the ozone layer since there are many vehicles on our roads each day. Furthermore, gases from factories also cause the destruction of the ozone layer in a higher proportion. For example, large factories and industries burn a lot of gases into the air, and these gases contaminate also depletes the ozone layer. Moreover, bush burning also depletes the ozone layer since it covers a large portion, and all the flames are directed to the open space.
To prevent this act, the government should make some rules and regulations to govern these activities, such as lawsuits to regulate the release of gases into the air. And also, individuals, especially people using motorcycles and vehicles, should make sure they are free from fumes that destroy the ozone layer and also they should desist from illegal burning of forests and bushes to reduce the number of gases expelled into the air.
To sum up, global warming is caused by the combustion of gases from motor and vehicles, gases from factories and also the burning of bushes. Meanwhile, the depletion of the ozone layer can be reduced if the government implement laws to govern the burning of gases into space. Also, this activity could be declined if individuals stop the act of illegal forest burning and also make sure their motors and vehicles are free from fumes.
