The illustration depicts the manufacturing process of paper from the tree pulp in a commercial setup.
Overall the entire process has two stages, the first being the making of clean pulp. Further, the second stage divides the pulp to make rough paper for boxes and refines paper for printing.
The process initiates with the tree logs being chipped and sent into the digester to convert into pulp. Subsequently, the pulp is washed and filtered in the pulp screen, producing clean pulp for further use. Once the pulp is clean and ready, it is split into two sets to make rough and refined papers for boxes and printing papers, respectively. The pulp used to make coarse paper is added into a pulp former and then dried and cut into reels to make paper bales.
Alternatively, the other section of the pulp is cleaner again to remove impurities, after which it is dried and pressed. Finally, the pressed sheets are completely desiccated, making the paper rolls ready for sale.
